Employee Referral Program Campaign

Agilent was looking to increase the hiring rate of applicants sourced from their Employee Referral Program. The new campaign needed to be effective worldwide, with a primary target of Software Engineers (but all roles needed to be viable). The creative should still feel like it fits within the existing Agilent brand identity and in subsequent rounds the client additionally requested that the campaign speak to internal mobility as well. We were tasked with providing two concepts and the resulting activation.

Concept 1

MAKE A REFERRAL THAT MATTERS

Agilent supports the important work done in labs all around the world, providing instruments, software, services, and consumables for laboratories. Their products support medical innovation and live-saving treatments. It matters.

Which means your help growing our teams is just as important.

Concept 2

TRUSTED PEOPLE. TRUSTED ANSWERS.

Agilent’s consumer brand tagline is “Trusted Answers.” And we’re looking for the people who can stand behind them.

And the reality is that you already know them. They’re your friends. Your family. Your workout buddy. Your game night host. You were already an amazing addition to your team – so there’s no doubt the people around you could be another one.

Activation

Agilent very quickly landed on the second option and roll out was needed immediately. We were tasked with not only executing the low-hanging fruit (emails, posters, intranet banners, etc.), but to think of interesting rewards for those who successfully referred new employees.
